Volunteering
We are so grateful to our volunteers, who generously give their time and energy. We welcome people from every part of the diverse community that King’s serves and rely on their help to ensure the Friends continues to provide valuable support to the hospital, its patients and its staff.
Volunteering with the Friends is a rewarding and enjoyable experience that allows you to participate in the daily life of the hospital. We ask most volunteers to commit to a regular weekly session, but occasional work may also be possible.

Currently the Friends cannot accept direct volunteers but work closely with the Trust's volunteering service who provide all of the screening and general training. Once you have been accepted as a Trust volunteer you can ask for a placement with the Friends to help in the Friends Shop, the trolley shop or behind the scenes in the stock room and office.
More information about the Trust's volunteering scheme can be found here.
