Friends' Grants

The Friends' main grant scheme is for requests over £100. We will usually consider requests for medical equipment, furniture, and any other item or project that may improve patients’ experience while in hospital or the ability of staff to carry out their jobs in improved conditions.

All Divisions/Departments are responsible for any Health & Safety implications, installation costs, the cost of ongoing consumables and maintenance costs not included in the original request relating to their proposal.

Please note applications for funding to attend conferences will not be considered.

All requests for funding will be considered at Friends of King's committee meetings which are normally held on the third Monday of the month. Dates of committee meetings can be found on the on the News page.
